We are currently recruiting for new PhD students in the group. You can apply for the graduate program at VCU in Chemical and Life Science Engineering from the graduate admissions website. Application fee waivers are available and can be awarded to good candidates on request. We have some availability to take on MS students as well, though these opportunities are short of full assistanceships.
We are happy to take students from various undergraduate backgrounds. Previous experience with scientific computing is a benefit, but only an interest in scientific computing is required.
We are taking interested undergraduate students. Students in the VCU College of Engineering can reach out to Dr. McGill to discuss interest.
Undergraduate students in the group should expect first to participate in the group through the CLSE 450: Undergraduate Research in CLSE course for credit, on a volunteer basis, or through a funded research opportunity before doing summer research with the group.
We have an available postdoc position on a collaboration project involving ML-guided protein design. Please contact us and send in your CV if you are interested.
If you want to apply for an outside fellowship to work with us or are bringing a fellowship with you, you can contact Dr. McGill to discuss.
